Today we tried out our Bibado coverall bib for the first time.

We aren’t yet at the full weaning stage yet but George enjoys a breastmilk lolly to cool his teething gums. [Lollies were made using Annabel Karmel lolly moulds]
I bought the bib using a discount code after seeing the hype in the Instagram mummy community. We wanted to see what all the fuss was about as we have used cloth bibs so far (they got drenched and likely to stain when it comes to actual food) and when it came to the formed plastic one, George kept pulling at it to try to get it off (he wasn’t a fan).
This product was so quick, easy and mess-free to use:
- Simply secure the velcro straps underneath the highchair tabletop.
- Sit your baby in the highchair
- Slide their arms into the bib and secure the velcro at the back
- You’re ready to start feeding – with no worries about food stains on cute outfits or later picking food debris from your baby’s lap.
The material is not plasticky, it’s soft to touch and not likely to rub or chafe against baby’s skin, particularly around the neck.
Once you’re done, simply undo the bib at the back and remove baby – leaving the bib still attached to the highchair. Use a clean cloth to remove any food debris and then stretch the bib out over the back of the seat to wipe clean.

I love it already and I really think we are going to find this bib so useful when it comes to starting weaning and moving onto solids.
